    Nearly 140 residents have saved a combined total of almost £18k by switching their energy provider thanks to a joint partnership between Peterborough City Council and their landlord, Axiom Housing Association.


  6. East of England Home Truths' affordability report 2016/17 - 1 Feb 17

    Only those earning upwards of £65,000 a year can now afford the average mortgage in the East of England, a new report from the National Housing Federation says today.

    With the mean salary now set at £28,000, the typical worker would need a staggering £37,000 pay rise (130%) to get a mortgage for the average home in the region.


  7. Older persons’ scheme is rated “good” by government inspector - 31 Jan 17

    An Ely sheltered scheme with 65 properties has been rated as providing “good” care across all five service areas inspected by the government’s independent Care Quality Commission (CQC).

    Beech Court scheme in Parsons Lane, Littleport, was recently inspected by the CQC following just 48-hours’ notice of a full inspection.

    The scheme, which is owned and managed by Axiom Housing Association, was rated as “good” (the second highest rating) for providing a service that is safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led.

  8. Funding will help Axiom build 85 affordable homes - 10 Jan 17

    Local families alongside young and vulnerable people in housing need will be helped thanks to a successful grant of more than £36m, which has been awarded to a group of housing associations.

    Peterborough-based Axiom Housing Association is one of the 13 organisations within the Blue Skies Consortium, which has received the award of £36,733,500 to deliver 1,133 new homes across the East and East Midlands regions.

  9. Five brand new two-bedroom homes available for shared ownership - 4 Jan 17
